Cowboy Rowdy

Rowdy was only 9 years old, when we lost him.  

AND

Just like that, (with just a blink of an eye).  our lives had changed forever!

Rowdy was a handsome, kind, mature cowboy.  Even at his young age, he was such a hard worker, loved the outdoors and was always there to lend a helping hand.  He always made people laugh, and  loved horses, 4H and rodeo.  

We will always cherish all the good memories.  Rowdy was such a great son to both of us. 

Rowdy was in a tragic ranch accident, 

He was out helping his Dad and friends with a large load of hay, when a  1,200 pound hay bail fell from the top of a semi load and landed on top of Rowdy,  he was rushed to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, in Laramie, WY, where they immediately, life flighted him to Children's Hospital in Colorado, we spent the next month right by Rowdy's side, while doctors worked 24-7 in trying to save his life.  Rowdy was tough and we knew he was fighting as hard as he could, but It wasn't easy watching him fight for his life.

On October 3, 2010, Rowdy went to to be with God and Heaven gained an amazing Angel.

As you can imagine, losing our son has been very difficult on us. 

One day, we quit asking  "Why"??? and decided to turn something negative into a positive...and accepted the fact that...God needed somebody like "Rowdy", and thats when we knew how Cowboy Rowdy could be helpful to others.

He became The "Cowboy Guardian Angel", not only for us, but for all those that knew him, some that didn't, but have believed in him and anyone who has supported  him in some way.  He  was asked to be one of "God's Helper's" and an Guardian Angel to so many others, and he took the job.

We strongly believe that anyone who wears or supports Cowboy Rowdy, whether its from his 

CR patch, Cowboy Rowdy cross, CR Shirts , his hats, his car and truck decals , or anything with his cross and brand on it and those that support his foundation, etc.,  he will always be your Guardian Angel, thanking you and protecting you .  He will help keep you safe.

Rowdy's Hope In Motion was started in memory of Rowdy to help others that have been involved in a Farm, Ranch or Rodeo 

accident or to reach out and help farm, ranch and rodeo families that have suffered  some type of tragedy and need assistance getting back on their feet.

There are several things we like to help with, please go to our Recipient page to view some of the great things we've been able to do for people over the years.

Rowdy had a passion for hockey, he loved the sport and would play hockey when not riding his horse and doing horse events.  He was always asking to practice with the older kids so he could learn more and driven by their hard work. The Outlaw Hockey group is such a great organization to be a part of and they kindly retired #1 in Rowdy's  honor and his jersey is hung up at the Laramie Ice & Event Center .
